Technical Product Owner – Travel Domain (Remote, Armenia)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to shape digital travel products that connect customer experience, data, integrations, and partner ecosystems. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere in Armenia while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, AI‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define product direction for travel‑domain solutions by aligning client goals, customer needs, operational realities, and technical feasibility.
• Own and manage the product backlog, priorities, acceptance criteria, and delivery‑ready requirements across discovery, refinement, implementation, and validation stages.
• Apply strong business analysis practices to clarify processes, stakeholder needs, business rules, dependencies, risks, and expected outcomes.
• Drive prioritisation and trade‑off decisions based on business value, customer impact, feasibility, data dependencies, delivery risks, and timelines.
• Align stakeholders, engineering, data/BI teams, vendors, and delivery management around scope, priorities, and implementation approach.
• Support data‑driven product areas by capturing data needs, reporting expectations, validation logic, and business interpretation of outputs.
• Leverage AI tools where relevant to improve analysis, requirements structuring, backlog refinement, documentation, research, and decision preparation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Lead Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong domain understanding of the travel industry.
• Proven product ownership and business analysis background, including backlog management, prioritisation, scope control, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
• Ability to work at the intersection of product ownership, business analysis, data, and engineering.
• AI‑ready mindset with hands‑on familiarity with AI tools.

Required skills

• SQL for data analysis, validation, and business logic clarification.
• Power BI or equivalent analysis tools.
• Experience with data platforms, ETL processes, data validation, data structures, and data flows.
• Understanding of backend systems, integrations, APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Familiarity with report/dashboard testing.
• Hands‑on use of AI tools to enhance product ownership activities.
