Backend Developer – High‑Load Insurance Platform

About the role
We are building a scalable insurance platform for Yandex Urban Services. The backend is a high‑load microservice system written in C++ and you will help develop new components, launch integrations and support the infrastructure as the platform grows.
Key responsibilities
- Launch integrations with partner websites, applications and internal platforms, implementing APIs, data models and interaction flows.
- Support the full lifecycle of insurance products, from high‑RPS offer presentation to claim‑payout processing.
- Design and develop reusable platform components such as pricing, scoring, billing and contract management modules.
- Solve infrastructure challenges typical for high‑load systems, including storage strategies, efficient search, caching and sharding.
- Hire, train and lead new team members, building a strong engineering foundation.
Required profile
- Strong programming skills with production‑grade C++ experience.
- Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Interest in solving complex engineering challenges and building scalable systems.
- Motivation to take ownership of technical solutions.
