Trade Platform Operations Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Trade Platform Operations Lead to take full ownership of our MT4/MT5 trading platform. This hands‑on, turnaround role will move the platform from an outsourced model to a fully internal operation, with direct visibility to the CEO and significant autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Own MT4/MT5 infrastructure, stability, uptime and performance.
• Audit the current setup and establish reliable uptime, incident and MTTR baselines.
• Build monitoring and observability using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog or equivalents.
• Create and maintain incident‑response, recovery and preventive‑maintenance playbooks.
• Lead critical production incidents and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Reduce client‑facing incidents and improve overall platform reliability.
• Recruit, mentor and manage a small 24/7 platform operations team with global coverage.
• Manage relationships with MetaQuotes, Microsoft and other infrastructure vendors.
• Report reliability metrics, risks and progress directly to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience operating MT4/MT5 infrastructure for a broker, prop firm or similar trading environment.
• Strong production troubleshooting and incident‑management experience.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Zabbix, ELK).
• Proven ability to create runbooks, recovery procedures and preventive‑maintenance processes.
• Experience leading a technical operations team, preferably with 24/7 coverage.
• Solid knowledge of infrastructure, networking and server administration.
• Experience working with external infrastructure or platform vendors.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions during high‑severity incidents.
