Accountant – Financial Records & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our vibrant team. The role focuses on accurately recording cost and expense documents, ensuring revenue and expenses are reflected in compliance with legislation, company regulations and generally accepted accounting principles. You will also liaise with our certified public accountant to monitor local law compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify sales revenues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and recording them accurately in the accounting system.
• Provide office income, cost, financing and financial statistics to the Sales Manager or immediate superior upon request.
• Handle timely bank deposits for sales proceeds (Office, BSP, Cargo, CASS, GSA) and record them.
• Process payments for approved expenditures following written approvals and manage disbursements of allowances.
• Maintain the annual cost budget sheet, monitor costs against budget limits and alert superiors of potential overruns.
• Manage administrative affairs and follow up on related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or high‑school graduation, with at least one year of experience in finance, accounting, monthly close or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent command of English and the local language.
• Valid work permit or citizenship; the company does not provide work permits.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and capable of making accurate decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
