AI Graphic Designer – Freelance

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a freelance AI Graphic Designer to join its innovative creative team. You will work at the intersection of design and cutting‑edge AI technology, turning data‑driven concepts into high‑impact visual assets for marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Design performance creatives and banners for paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Google and other platforms.
• Create landing‑page mockups and email templates for hand‑off to development teams.
• Produce social‑media visuals and brand assets that follow established brand guidelines.
• Use AI image‑generation tools daily to generate variations, backgrounds and style‑consistent assets.
• Adapt existing concepts to multiple sizes, formats and platforms while maintaining visual consistency.
• Collaborate with producers, requesters and the lead designer to scope tasks and align on creative direction.
• Incorporate basic performance metrics (CTR, CPA, spend) into creative decisions.

Required profile

• Strong graphic‑design fundamentals (composition, typography, colour, hierarchy) demonstrated in a portfolio.
• Experience designing for digital formats such as performance ads, landing pages and newsletters.
• Ability to apply brand guidelines at high volume and maintain consistency across adaptations.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, SLA‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Figma (auto‑layout, components, libraries)
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• AI image‑generation tools (Midjourney, Flux, ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, NanoBanana, Imagen)
• Prompt engineering and reference‑based generation for production use
• Techniques for character/style consistency (LoRA, IP‑Adapter, ControlNet)
