About the role

WorldQuant is building AI‑powered applications that help its employees access information, synthesize knowledge, and support strategic decision‑making. As an AI Software Developer you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of these products, turning ambiguous needs into reliable, production‑grade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deploy AI‑driven applications in close collaboration with internal users.
• Clarify requirements, shape user experience, and iterate based on feedback.
• Prioritize features, contribute to roadmap discussions, and ensure products deliver measurable value.
• Develop advanced AI capabilities such as agentic workflows, deep‑research pipelines, and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Guarantee that AI systems are trustworthy, scalable, and practical for real‑world use.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background, preferably with Python, and experience building reliable production systems.
• Proven ability to take features from vague requests through design, delivery, rollout, and iteration.
• Product‑mindset with pragmatic trade‑off decisions and focus on high‑impact outcomes.
• Analytical mindset and passion for solving complex, real‑world problems.
• Solid understanding of modern AI systems and hands‑on experience with LLM‑powered applications.
