Backend Team Lead

About the role

The company secures the AI‑driven software development lifecycle from prompt to production, eliminating real‑time risks in AI‑generated code. We are fast‑growing and need a Backend Team Lead to drive technical execution, engineering excellence, and delivery of scalable, high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team across multiple workstreams, ensuring high‑quality delivery throughout each sprint.
• Own sprint planning, prioritisation, capacity planning and alignment on sprint goals.
• Act as the primary bridge between engineering, product, customer success and customers, removing blockers and managing dependencies.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, identifying skill gaps and improving velocity.
• Lead technical design of features, guaranteeing scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Stay hands‑on by contributing to high‑scale cloud development using Node.js, AWS and MongoDB.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and champion best practices for architecture, performance and quality.
• Partner with product managers to shape features from concept through production and engage in technical sessions with customers.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on software development experience.
• 3–5 years in a technical leadership or team‑lead role.
• Deep expertise with Node.js and strong experience with AWS.
• Proven ability to design and build scalable backend systems.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end features from design to production in a fast‑paced product environment.
