Chief Business Development Officer

About the role

Freedom Broker Armenia, part of the international financial holding Freedom Holding Corp., is launching a new Crypto Business direction and seeks a senior leader to drive its launch, growth and market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business and go‑to‑market strategy for the crypto brokerage launch.
• Define the business plan, priorities and projects to meet strategic objectives.
• Craft value propositions for traders, investors and institutional clients.
• Analyse market, competition, jurisdictions and target geographies.
• Build a sales pipeline across B2C, B2B and institutional segments.
• Identify, negotiate and close strategic partnerships with exchanges, market makers, liquidity providers, payment systems, custodians and fiat service providers.
• Establish the institutional segment, engaging funds, family offices and OTC traders.
• Build and lead Business Development, Sales and Partnerships teams from the ground up.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Compliance, Technology and Marketing to ensure successful launch and scaling.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior experience in Business Development, Institutional Sales or related commercial roles.
• Background in crypto brokerage, cryptocurrency exchanges, FX brokerage, FinTech or similar sectors.
• Proven track record launching and scaling financial or crypto products.
• Strong understanding of digital‑assets market infrastructure, pricing, liquidity and market makers.
• Extensive network within the crypto/FinTech ecosystem and CIS/international markets.
• Excellent negotiation, strategic and commercial thinking abilities.
• Fluency in English and Russian; Armenian or other languages a plus.
