Chief SME Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

This position is a senior credit risk role focused on small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) business loans. The analyst reviews loan applications, makes decisions within their authority, assesses client creditworthiness and supports colleagues and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze SME business loan applications (primary and/or secondary) and manage the process effectively
• Decide on loan applications within the authority defined by the Bank's internal regulations
• Recommend decisions on applications outside the assigned authority to the competent approving body
• Notify relevant departments of approved loans
• Assess the credit ratings of SME business clients
• Support colleagues and business units in preparing and analyzing loan applications
• Support the development and improvement of SME business products
• Help draft and amend internal regulations on SME business activities
• Train employees and staff and provide mentorship

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of banking legislation and regulatory requirements
• English at B1 level
• Knowledge of accounting legislation, including financial and tax accounting
