English & School Education Project Manager

About the role

The role involves managing and delivering funded education projects that span multiple countries, ensuring they are executed from initiation to completion while meeting all stakeholder, compliance and reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manages and delivers funded projects from initiation to completion, overseeing plans, stakeholders, compliance, reporting, and contracts.
• Builds and maintains strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring engagement and effective communication.
• Leads procurement, supplier and contractor management, holding partners accountable for delivery.
• Ensures financial compliance through budgeting, monitoring expenditure, maintaining records and reporting.
• Develops project management plans, identifies risks and implements mitigation strategies with senior stakeholders.
• Oversees data collection, quality assurance, analysis, monitoring, evaluation and reporting to provide accurate project insights.
• Applies local context expertise to enhance project design and supports knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects from start to finish, including familiarity with project life cycles.
• Experience managing external stakeholders and using technology in project delivery.
• Good understanding of monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Native proficiency in Armenian and C1/C2 level English; B2 Russian proficiency is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree; foundation level project management qualification preferred.
