Front Office Agent – Hotel Reception

About the role

The Alexander, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Yerevan is looking for an experienced Front Office Agent to welcome guests, manage arrivals and departures, and ensure a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Attend all guests at the front desk for check‑in/check‑out, inquiries, key handling, following hotel standards and procedures.
• Use appropriate materials, equipment and supplies for smooth Front Office operations and request requisitions as needed.
• Manage guest complaints professionally, resolve them, ensure satisfaction and record the incidents.
• Ensure assigned and blocked rooms requiring special set‑ups are accurately displayed in the system and available to Housekeeping and other departments in due time.
• Perform proper cashier closing and ensure a complete handover between shifts.
• Carry out any other job‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a relevant field.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a similar position.
• Excellent problem‑solving and multitasking skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Armenian, Russian and English.
• Strong customer‑service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
