Head of Public Relations (PR)

About the role

Ameriabank is seeking a senior leader to head its Public Relations division. The role will shape the bank’s communication strategy, enhance its public image and support brand positioning across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the bank’s PR and communication strategy aligned with business goals and brand positioning.
• Define long‑term PR directions, set annual plans, core messages and monitor media and social trends.
• Lead the PR team, set goals and KPIs, allocate tasks, evaluate performance and foster professional growth.
• Organise and oversee PR campaigns and events such as press conferences, panel discussions and public awareness initiatives.
• Prepare and distribute PR materials—including press releases, interviews, infographics, videos—and manage their placement across media, social networks and the bank’s website.
• Build and maintain relationships with mass media, partners and other external stakeholders.
• Monitor media coverage and social feedback, analyse results and provide recommendations to management.
• Initiate internal communication programs to boost employee engagement and corporate culture.

Required profile

• University degree.
• 7–10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial PR role.
• Proven experience in organising PR events, campaigns and media relations.
• Fluent in Armenian, English and Russian.
• Knowledge of economics and banking is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities, proactive attitude and high sense of responsibility.
