About the role

Wedo Creative is expanding its illustration team to work on bold, exciting projects that will appear on bookstore shelves and across digital platforms. The role is focused on turning client briefs and internal ideas into compelling visual stories.

Key responsibilities

• Generate creative ideas and visual concepts for illustration‑based projects.
• Design characters, scenes, and assets for books, campaigns, digital content, and more.
• Create mood boards, concept sketches, and final artwork that meet visual quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Team to shape memorable visual narratives.
• Stay up‑to‑date with design trends and visual storytelling methods.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the visual tone of diverse projects.

Required profile

• Excellent drawing and sketching abilities with a strong portfolio in character design.
• High attention to detail and a passion for visual aesthetics.
• Fast learner with a growth mindset, eager to acquire new styles or tools.
• Ability to present ideas clearly both visually and verbally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
