Landscape Designer

About the role

The Landscape Designer will work full‑time on‑site in Yerevan, creating functional and aesthetic outdoor spaces such as gardens, pathways and seating areas, aligned with O₂ Gardens’ vision and ecological principles. The role covers design, detailed planting and hardscape plans, visualisations, and collaboration with project managers, suppliers and maintenance staff.

Key responsibilities

• Design functional and aesthetic outdoor spaces, including gardens, pathways and seating areas.
• Create detailed planting plans and hardscape layouts.
• Prepare drawings and visualisations for client approval.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers and maintenance staff to ensure accurate implementation.
• Conduct site visits, measure and assess existing conditions.
• Select appropriate plants and materials based on project requirements.
• Adapt designs according to budget, environmental factors and client feedback.
• Engage with visitors or clients to understand their needs and present design concepts.
• Support ongoing improvements to the overall landscape experience at O₂ Gardens.

Required profile

• Skills in Landscape Design and Landscaping to plan cohesive outdoor environments.
• Skills in Landscape Architecture to integrate aesthetics, functionality and sustainability.
• Skills in Planting Plans to select species, design schemes and ensure long‑term plant health.
• Skills in Hardscape to design paths, patios, walls and outdoor structures.
• Relevant qualification such as a degree or certification in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design or a related field.
• Experience with design software (e.g., ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Lumion, Photoshop, SketchUp) and hand‑drawing abilities.
• Strong visual, spatial and creative thinking abilities with attention to detail and understanding of local climate and ecology.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines on‑site.
