Marketplace Partner Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are looking to hire a Marketplace Partner Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for expanding and developing partnership relationships for Buy.am.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and attract new partners based on category priorities, assortment needs, commercial potential, and geographic coverage.
• Manage the acquisition pipeline from outreach to signed agreements, ensuring consistent follow‑up.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to explain Buy.am’s value proposition, cooperation models, service packages, and operational requirements.
• Negotiate commissions, service fees, and other commercial terms within the approved framework.
• Coordinate agreement signing and collect all legal, commercial, and operational information required for onboarding.
• Hand over complete documentation to the onboarding/content team and monitor launch readiness.
• Guide partners through initial setup, order‑handling procedures, and basic training on the Supplier App, coordinating technical support as needed.
• Monitor competitor offerings, partner feedback, and coverage gaps to identify new acquisition opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare regular pipeline reports and acquisition forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in sales, business development, partner acquisition or a similar commercial role.
• Experience with restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, retail, FMCG, HoReCa, e‑commerce or marketplace businesses is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust with partners.
• Proactive, results‑oriented approach and ability to manage an acquisition pipeline independently.
• Excellent organizational and follow‑up skills, with attention to accurate documentation.
• Fluency in Armenian; knowledge of Russian and/or English is an advantage.
