Reconciliation Specialist

About the role

Take ownership of daily reconciliation to ensure transaction and settlement records are accurate. Work closely with Finance, Treasury, IT and Compliance to investigate discrepancies and improve tracking processes.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily platform transactions against provider and acquirer statements.
• Investigate unmatched records, transaction discrepancies and settlement issues, identifying root causes and driving resolution.
• Monitor merchant and acquirer balances, fees, rolling reserves and settlements for accuracy.
• Escalate unresolved cases and track them through closure within agreed SLAs.
• Review provider statement formats and coordinate parser updates with IT.
• Validate automated reconciliation results before final approval.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of experience in reconciliation or payment operations.
• Hands‑on Excel experience in financial data analysis and reconciliation.
• Proven ability to identify payment discrepancies and trace their root causes.
• Experience handling financial data with high accuracy and preparing written case updates.
• Russian proficiency (C1) and English (B2) sufficient for business correspondence.
