SAP Basis Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis System Architect to lead architecture, transformation and operational excellence initiatives across our SAP landscapes. You will design scalable, secure and cloud‑ready SAP platform architectures supporting S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define SAP platform architecture standards and governance.
• Design S/4HANA landscapes for on‑premise, private and public cloud.
• Lead RISE with SAP and cloud transformation programs.
• Design high‑availability and disaster‑recovery architectures.
• Define system sizing, performance and transport management strategies.
• Define SAP security architecture in collaboration with security teams.
• Lead Basis modernization and Clean Core compliance initiatives.
• Establish monitoring and observability standards using SAP Cloud ALM.
• Design automation for provisioning and operations.
• Support hyperscaler deployments on Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Provide technical leadership during upgrades, migrations and conversions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, S/4HANA architecture and SAP NetWeaver.
• Strong expertise in SAP HANA, Landscape Management and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Proficiency with SAP Solution Manager, Focused Run and RISE with SAP.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, GCP and hyperscaler platforms.
• Skills in Kubernetes, Docker and Infrastructure as Code.
• Competency in SAP Identity Management, IAS/IPS, Single Sign‑On, SNC, TLS/Certificates and SAP authorisation concepts.
• Background in high‑availability, disaster‑recovery and performance engineering.
• Understanding of technical governance, DevOps and automation.
