Senior Backend Developer – Insurance Platform

About the role

We are building a scalable microservice backend for a high‑load insurance platform that processes over 10,000 policies daily. As a Senior Backend Developer you will design, implement and scale core components, integrate with partner services, and help grow the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Launch integrations with partner websites, applications and internal platforms, working with APIs, data models and product flows.
• Design architecture and develop reusable components such as pricing, scoring, billing and insurance‑product management modules.
• Solve infrastructure challenges for high‑load systems, scaling to tens of thousands of requests per second and optimizing data storage.
• Develop solutions for large datasets, including efficient search, data separation and automated testing.
• Mentor junior engineers, participate in hiring and contribute to building a strong engineering culture.

Required profile

• Strong C++ skills with solid coding practices.
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Interest in solving complex engineering problems at scale.
• Experience designing distributed systems operating under high load (a plus).
