Senior Contractual Specialist

About the role

Evoca is seeking a Senior Contractual Specialist to verify the legality and validity of documents certifying the rights to properties pledged to the Bank within loan applications. The role also provides legal support and advice to Bank employees and, when needed, to customers, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the legality and validity of documents certifying property rights pledged to the Bank in loan applications, and give conclusions on deficiencies and legal risks
• Amend and align existing loan and pledge agreements with the Bank's internal legal acts, CBA requirements and RA legislation
• Review and analyse the Bank's internal legal acts and ensure their compliance with RA legislation
• Answer customer requests about clarifying or amending contractual provisions
• Provide legal support and consultation to Bank employees and, when necessary, to customers

Required profile

• Higher education in law
• At least two years of work experience in the banking or financial sector, preferably in the contractual or legal field
• Good command of English and Russian, written and spoken
• Strong ability to draft and analyse legal documents, attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility

Required skills

• Experience in drafting and legal review of loan, pledge and other banking agreements
• Good knowledge of CBA regulations, RA civil legislation and other legal acts regulating banking activities
