Senior Jewelry Visual Designer

About the role

Jacob & Co. is seeking a talented, versatile and highly skilled Visual Designer to join its creative team. The role reports to the Design Director and suits a multidisciplinary designer with strong artistic vision and technical expertise, comfortable with traditional drawing, digital design, 3D modelling and high-end visualization, with a strong understanding of luxury jewelry and watchmaking.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Design Director and Design Team on creative and technical projects.
• Develop concepts through hand sketching, digital illustration and technical drawing.
• Create detailed 3D models, digital sculptures and high-quality renderings.
• Contribute to jewelry and timepiece design, from concept to advanced visualization.
• Produce visual assets for presentations, advertising and other initiatives.
• Perform photo manipulation, graphic design and image editing as required.
• Propose creative ideas and solutions to improve design quality and workflow.
• Manage several projects to deadline, with accuracy and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Minimum commitment of 40 hours per week; shifts arranged within the 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Eastern Time window, with flexible schedules possible.
• Excellent spoken and written English and strong interpersonal, self-motivated and organized skills.
• Able to learn new software quickly and give full professional attention to the role.

Required skills

• Traditional hand drawing, digital illustration and 3D design.
• Experience in jewelry design, watch design, rendering and visualization.
• Solid knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, watch movements and mechanical components.
• Cinema 4D, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, KeyShot or Rhino, and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
