Senior Manager, Software Engineering

About the role

ServiceTitan is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead high‑impact teams that design and deliver scalable, cross‑cutting systems. You will operate in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment, guiding both people and technical execution.

Key responsibilities

• Establish outcome‑driven development plans, coach engineers and managers, and build a culture of ownership, trust, and psychological safety.
• Guide teams in designing, evolving, and operating reliable, maintainable distributed systems across multiple product domains.
• Own delivery outcomes from discovery through production, create clear roadmaps, and manage technical debt.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, and other Engineering groups to deliver end‑to‑end solutions and resolve cross‑team dependencies.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, including senior engineers or managers.
• Strong technical background designing and operating complex, distributed systems at scale.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, balance urgency with sound technical decisions, and coordinate work across multiple teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical topics for diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs)
• SQL‑based systems (e.g., SQL Server)
• Modern engineering practices: Git, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, performance monitoring
• Experience or strong interest in AI‑enabled or data‑driven systems
