Senior Product Designer – BNPL Merchant Experience

About the role

Tabby is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join its BNPL stream and shape the merchant side of its core product. You will work on the Merchant Dashboard across web and mobile, enabling merchants to manage transactions, settlements, invoices, and self‑service tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own merchant journeys in the Dashboard end‑to‑end, from concept to polished execution.
• Upgrade core dashboard pages (transactions, settlements, invoices) and design new self‑service tools.
• Create clear, data‑dense interfaces that simplify complex financial information.
• Design and iterate on merchant experiments and new features with product managers, measuring outcomes.
• Reimagine the in‑store experience together with product and engineering teams.
• Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, UX researchers and writers to solve key merchant problems.
• Leverage data, merchant feedback and research insights to inform design decisions.
• Partner with designers from other streams to maintain a consistent experience and contribute to the design system.
• Use AI tools for prototyping, ideation and moving solutions closer to code.
• Present and advocate designs to cross‑functional and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing digital products, preferably B2B, fintech or data‑rich tools.
• Strong craft demonstrated through a portfolio and excellent Figma skills.
• Comfort designing for both web/dashboard and native mobile (iOS & Android).
• Strong product thinking with the ability to explain business goals and user needs.
• Ability to turn uncertainty into clarity and handle complex flows and edge cases.
• High proficiency with AI tools to accelerate prototyping and exploration.
• Understanding of technical constraints and effective collaboration with engineering.
• Confident communicator, able to discuss work with designers and C‑level executives.
• Experience applying systems thinking and contributing to shared design systems.
• Autonomous work style, managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
