Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our Product & Development team building an enterprise‑level integration and automation platform in the iPaaS domain. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Armenia while contributing to scalable backend services that power AI‑enabled, data‑driven workflows for global enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications.
• Build backend services supporting integration, automation and AI‑enabled features.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code following TDD/BDD principles.
• Work extensively with PostgreSQL, including complex SQL queries and performance optimisation.
• Ensure application performance, reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Take ownership of tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with Ruby and the Ruby on Rails ecosystem.
• Proven ability to build and support scalable web applications.
• Deep hands‑on expertise in PostgreSQL, including query optimisation and complex SQL.
• Solid experience with RSpec and TDD/BDD practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for results.
• Good spoken and written English for communication in an international environment.
