About the role
AMD is looking for a motivated student to join its software development team on a fixed‑term basis. The position is hybrid, based in Yerevan, and offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge FPGA tools while receiving guidance from experienced engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to teams focused on FPGA tools development.
- Develop and maintain code for AMD products.
- Debug and test new features of hardware and software.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to grow professionally.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in an Armenian university pursuing a degree in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Fluent in English.
Required skills
- C++ (including STL and OOP concepts)
- Python
- TCL and Shell scripting
- Data structures and algorithms
- Experience with EDA tools, digital design and FPGA
- Knowledge of ASIC design and Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Understanding of digital logic design, Boolean algebra and combinatorics
- Basic electrical circuit concepts
- Familiarity with UNIX environments
