Surgical Coordinator & Scheduler (Armenian Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and empathetic Surgical Coordinator & Patient Scheduler to manage end‑to‑end patient scheduling and surgical care workflows. You will act as the primary bridge between patients, surgical teams, and facilities, ensuring seamless coordination from consultation through post‑operative recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and maintain patient appointments for consultations, follow‑up visits, pre‑operative evaluations, and coordinate operating‑room time with providers and facilities.
• Facilitate pre‑operative and post‑operative care coordination, securing medical clearances, diagnostic results, and prior authorizations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for patients, explaining pre‑op requirements, post‑op care plans, and addressing inquiries with compassionate support.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR, track procedure status, and communicate schedule updates to surgical teams.

Required profile

• Prior experience in surgical coordination, medical scheduling, or clinical care navigation.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills with a warm, professional bedside manner.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple surgical timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and digital scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with prior‑authorization processes and pre‑op/post‑op protocols.
