Accountant

About the role

MSALABS is seeking an Accountant to support the Finance Manager and Regional Managers with financial reporting and accounting processes. The role is based in Armenia and involves close collaboration with an outsourced accounting service provider and internal finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety leadership and demonstrate personal commitment to safety, environmental and social responsibility.
• Maintain good knowledge of ERP systems and compile the monthly cash plan using information from internal departments and the outsourced provider.
• Provide the outsourced accounting service provider with all documentation required for tax returns and statutory reports.
• Coordinate preparation and review of month‑end balance sheet and profit & loss reports, and discuss results with Operating Managers.
• Support intercompany reconciliations, revenue reconciliation, and resolve discrepancies before reporting.
• Prepare weekly Accounts Receivable reports, follow up on payments with Project Managers or clients, and upload supplier invoices into the Group ERP system.
• Liaise with vendors to address queries and ensure smooth communication.
• Record cash movements, maintain petty‑cash documentation, and report daily bank balances to management.
• Prepare payment requests with supporting documentation and assist/train Assistant Accountants as needed.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental and social responsibility practices.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems.
• Ability to coordinate finance and accounting processes across multiple teams and external providers.
