Accountant

About the role

The finance team of DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan City Centre is looking for a detail-oriented, responsible and motivated Accountant. The role covers day-to-day accounting, reconciliation, reporting and compliance within an international hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and document financial transactions properly.
• Process bank transactions and statements, and process invoices, payments and other accounting documents.
• Reconcile accounts and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing procedures.
• Prepare financial reports and support the preparation of tax reports in line with applicable legislation.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Relevant accounting experience; hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of local and international accounting principles, including tax legislation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, accuracy, organization and ability to meet deadlines.
• Integrity, confidentiality and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good knowledge of English and Russian.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
