Chief Analyst – Financial Reporting & Data Analysis

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Analyst to lead our Financial Reporting and Data Analysis Unit. You will ensure the preparation of accurate regulatory and financial reports, maintain compliance with the Central Bank of Armenia and IFRS, and provide management insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory reports in line with Central Bank of Armenia requirements.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS.
• Generate reports for partner financial institutions and other external stakeholders.
• Monitor CBA regulatory updates and assess their impact on reporting frameworks.
• Develop internal management reports to support decision‑making.
• Carry out additional assignments as required by senior management.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Mathematics.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the financial or banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of bank accounting principles and IFRS (ACC‑A qualification is a plus).
• In‑depth understanding of Central Bank of Armenia regulatory reporting requirements.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Python (strong advantage).
• Practical knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Familiarity with bank accounting principles.
