Compliance Specialist

About the role

UHIF is looking for a Compliance Specialist to monitor adherence to applicable legislation, regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role involves identifying compliance risks, analysing legislative changes and providing actionable recommendations to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the Foundation’s compliance with legislation, regulations and internal policies.
• Identify, assess and track compliance risks, including conflicts of interest, corruption and fraud.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislative and regulatory developments and advise on their impact.
• Participate in drafting and reviewing internal policies, procedures and related documents.
• Conduct compliance assessments of processes and projects.
• Prepare professional opinions, analyses and reports for the General Director and the Board of Trustees.
• Collaborate with other departments to prevent and resolve compliance issues.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Management, Risk Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, internal control, risk management, legal, audit or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of Armenian legislation and compliance principles.
• Excellent analytical, critical and systemic thinking abilities.
• High integrity, responsibility, objectivity and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Armenian and good working proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
