Engineering Manager

About the role

Buildern is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Yerevan engineering team. You will shape the engineering culture, drive delivery excellence, and partner with product, design, and operations to build reliable construction‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of software engineers, fostering ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Own engineering execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time with high quality through effective planning, estimation and risk mitigation.
• Continuously improve engineering processes, planning, retrospectives and release management to increase productivity and predictability.
• Promote high standards for architecture, code quality, automated testing, CI/CD and production reliability, including the use of AI‑assisted development tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA and DevOps to translate business priorities into actionable engineering plans.
• Attract, hire and onboard exceptional engineers, scaling the organization as Buildern grows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production software.
• 2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in a fast‑growing B2B SaaS environment.
• Strong technical background in modern web applications and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to improve delivery predictability, engineering execution and team performance.
• Excellent coaching, mentoring and stakeholder communication skills.
