Head of Data Management Department

About the role

Evoca is looking for a senior leader to head its Data Management Department, overseeing business analytics, data governance, quality assurance, and data science operations across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute data governance and analytics strategies, ensuring unified definitions, quality, and comparability of core data and metrics.
• Coordinate development of data warehouse, data marts, OLAP structures and analytical solutions, working with IT units, external vendors and business units.
• Lead data quality control processes, data lineage, data dictionary management and metric calculation logic.
• Promote automation of reporting, dashboards and interactive analytics using Power BI, Streamlit and other tools.
• Oversee the application of statistical, machine learning and AI models for customer segmentation, churn, CLV, forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Build and develop the department team, ensuring professional competency and consistent methodology.

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, IT or related field.
• Managerial experience in Business Analytics, BI, Data Governance or Data Science within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of core banking processes and financial metrics.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
