Head of Technology and Digital Risks

About the role

The Technology and Digital Risks Department at AyDi Bank is seeking an experienced leader to head the unit. You will be responsible for overseeing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation related to the bank's IT and digital services, ensuring business continuity and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and organise the department’s daily activities, including task planning, distribution, performance monitoring and staff development.
• Design and manage processes for identifying, evaluating and continuously monitoring IT and digital service risks.
• Conduct risk analysis of technological incidents, root‑cause investigations and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
• Assess risks of new technologies, digital products, information systems and third‑party providers before implementation and contribute to risk‑reduction measures.
• Evaluate release and change risks prior to production deployment and monitor post‑release issues and their impact.
• Own Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) functions, maintaining and testing continuity and recovery plans.
• Review effectiveness of control mechanisms in information systems and propose improvements.
• Participate in the development and periodic review of internal policies and procedures governing technology and digital risk management.
• Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management and coordinate awareness activities with IT and information security teams.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, finance, banking, mathematics or a related field.
• In‑depth knowledge of Armenian regulatory acts and international standards/best practices for IT and digital risk management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, IT architecture, information security or the financial‑banking sector, with proven leadership in technology/digital risk management.
• Proficiency in Armenian, Russian and English.
• Strong communication, presentation and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Demonstrated team‑management, task‑planning and staff‑development skills.
