Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Courtyard by Marriott Yerevan is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead its housekeeping team. The role involves ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, assigning tasks and work areas.
• Inspect rooms and public areas to verify compliance with cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Monitor progress and quality of work throughout each shift.
• Train, coach and support team members, ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Manage linen, amenities and inventory, and report maintenance issues to relevant departments.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office and Maintenance to guarantee rooms are ready for guests.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and resolve housekeeping‑related concerns.
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager with administrative duties and support the department during high‑occupancy periods.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, with supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a reliable, responsible work ethic.
• Ability to motivate a diverse team and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of English is an advantage.
