International Sales Executive (Worldwide)

About the role

The Business Year is a global media group giving investors, businesses and governments insight into dynamic markets, with hundreds of interviews per week published in reports and online. Its International Sales Executives act as Country Managers in one of the 30+ countries covered and build commercial, win-win partnerships with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange interviews with top business executives and other public figures
• Establish and maintain commercial relations with advertisers and other clients
• Attend business events and networking sessions
• Work with a small in-country team and Head Office to produce publications and reports

Required profile

• University graduate with a sound knowledge of international, political, business and economic affairs
• Fluent written and spoken English; fluency in Spanish, French, Portuguese or Arabic is a plus
• Commercial and business acumen; prior sales experience preferred but not compulsory
• Availability to work in the field up to 11 months a year, 3-8 months in each country
• Relevant journalistic experience or training
