IT Support Specialist

About the role

CreedRoomz is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join its team. The role covers troubleshooting, repairing and supporting users' computers and networks, as well as helping with the rollout of new applications.

Key responsibilities

• Identify hardware and software solutions, troubleshoot technical issues and diagnose and repair faults
• Resolve network issues and install and configure hardware and software
• Provide timely and accurate customer feedback and follow up with clients until the problem is solved
• Replace or repair the necessary parts
• Support the rollout of new applications and manage several cases at once
• Test and evaluate new technologies and carry out electrical safety checks on equipment
• Provide technical support to internal end users on routine hardware and software problems, including operating system, application, system access and database support
• Enter data into the Help Desk tracking system and assist with maintenance
• Answer user questions, analyse problems and restore systems to proper operation
• Communicate clearly with end users, colleagues and management
• Create and implement new processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction while reducing costs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (basic technical skills are preferable)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm and professional in all circumstances
• Ability to quickly identify problems, form solutions and follow step-by-step troubleshooting procedures
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Required skills

• Working knowledge of PC operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency in Windows OS
• Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software
