Lecturer (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

The European University of Armenia is seeking a full-time, on-site Lecturer to join its faculty in Yerevan. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to the university’s academic development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops, and prepare course materials and assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date syllabi aligned with university standards.
• Mentor and advise students, provide regular performance feedback, and support student projects and research activities.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and committees.
• Engage in scholarly or professional activities and support quality-assurance and accreditation processes.

Required profile

• Advanced academic preparation in a relevant discipline (Master’s required; PhD preferred).
• Demonstrated university-level teaching experience, including course design and assessment development.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to integrate modern teaching methods and educational technologies.
• Evidence of scholarly activity, research experience, or relevant professional practice.
• Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory educational practices.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple courses.
• Fluency in the primary language of instruction and good written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset.
