Risk Analyst - Credit Risk

About the role

Tabby, a money app serving customers and businesses across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait since 2019, is hiring a Risk Analyst for its Credit Risk B2C team. The role analyses risk performance and contributes to the risk strategy across products, working with large datasets to identify trends, monitor portfolio performance and support data-driven decisions that balance growth with risk discipline. It is highly cross-functional, collaborating closely with data, product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse portfolio performance, customer behaviour and key risk indicators across products and segments
• Use big data analytics to identify risk patterns and insights
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor risk metrics and present insights to leadership
• Optimise risk strategies and policies to support sustainable growth
• Contribute to the design and rollout of new products and policies
• Support launches in new markets and verticals with cross-functional teams
• Improve risk management processes by adopting best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in risk management, fraud analytics or a related data-driven role, preferably in fintech or financial services
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex information clearly

Required skills

• SQL, Python or similar tools
• Understanding of consumer lending, digital wallets, transfers and fintech risk models
