Senior Accountant

About the role

Finbox Armenia is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead daily accounting operations in its fast‑growing fintech and payment services environment. This full‑time, on‑site position in Yerevan will support the company’s financial integrity and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare, review, and finalize monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Armenian tax regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for management.
• Maintain accurate documentation and continuously improve accounting processes.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, and finance teams to support business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA, CPA or local equivalent is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within financial services, banking or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and audit support.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Ability to use financial analysis tools for budgeting and forecasting.
