Senior AI Software Engineer (.NET)

About the role

We are building an AI‑driven logistics platform that ingests real‑time operational data—both structured and unstructured—to support planning and execution decisions. As a Senior AI Software Engineer you will embed LLM‑powered features into production .NET services, define safe hand‑off points to humans, and ensure AI behaviour is trustworthy and observable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship LLM‑ and agent‑powered capabilities within .NET services, including tool calling, structured outputs, and document understanding.
• Design the interface between deterministic business logic and probabilistic AI, implementing validation, fallbacks, and human‑in‑the‑loop mechanisms.
• Establish AI trustworthiness through evaluations, test sets, observability, guardrails, and cost/latency budgets.
• Own features end‑to‑end, from problem framing with product to production monitoring and iteration.

Required profile

• Strong senior‑level .NET engineering experience.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty, work in ambiguity, and challenge decisions when appropriate.
• Outcome‑focused mindset with a preference for ownership over comfort.
• Understanding of trade‑offs in complex systems and when not to use AI.
