Senior Data & AI Solution Architect

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Data & AI Solution Architect to lead the design of enterprise‑wide data, analytics and artificial‑intelligence solutions in a Microsoft‑first environment. The role translates business requirements into secure, scalable architectures and supports delivery teams from prototyping through production.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture for data, analytics and AI use cases, ensuring design quality, security, scalability, supportability and cost efficiency.
• Translate business needs into technical designs, target architectures, integration patterns and implementation guidance.
• Lead by example with hands‑on prototyping, architecture reviews, troubleshooting, code/design reviews and technical support for delivery teams.
• Embed security, governance, compliance and operational readiness into solutions from design through production deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in senior solution‑architecture roles for enterprise data, analytics and AI platforms.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure‑based data platforms (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, data lake, SQL, dimensional modeling).
• Strong background in enterprise security, governance and compliance, working with architects and regulatory functions.
• Experience designing AI solutions with Azure OpenAI and retrieval‑augmented (RAG) patterns.
• BI/analytics architecture experience with Power BI or similar enterprise BI technology.

• Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD for data/AI solutions.
