Senior Data Analyst – Supply Side

About the role

Emerging Travel Group is looking for a self‑driven Senior Data Analyst to join the Wholesaler Business Unit. You will work at the intersection of product and business analytics, focusing on the supply side of our accommodation inventory and turning complex questions into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Research direct‑contract accommodation providers, hotel chains and third‑party suppliers to propose strategic, product and process improvements.
• Develop and automate reporting for internal teams, ranging from simple SQL query templates to executive dashboards.
• Analyze internal and external data to enhance the hotel offering and support product discovery for the Extranet partner portal.
• Design and continuously improve analytical algorithms, including prioritisation, segmentation and predictive models for Business Development.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with a solid grasp of business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills and the ability to present insights in a clear, business‑friendly manner.
• Upper‑Intermediate (B2) English proficiency or higher.

Required skills

• SQL with knowledge of query optimisation techniques.
• Python and a good understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
• Statistical methods for hypothesis testing, confidence evaluation and result generalisation.
• Data visualisation for effective communication of insights.
