Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Group-IB is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Development team. You will build, maintain and scale high‑availability systems that power global cybersecurity services, working with Linux, Kubernetes, IaC tools and modern observability platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise core server infrastructure, including bare‑metal, LXC containers, virtual machines and cloud environments.
• Operate and support core services such as Nginx, Puppet, GitLab, Artifactory, Nexus and Harbor.
• Manage infrastructure as code using tools like FluxCD or ArgoCD.
• Handle and resolve incidents related to infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with network engineers, developers and other technical stakeholders.
• Design and implement high‑availability, fault‑tolerant and scalable software solutions.
• Monitor service performance and availability with modern observability tools.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Linux administration, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong proficiency in Bash or similar scripting languages.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, DNS).
• Hands‑on experience managing bare‑metal infrastructure in production.
• Experience with configuration‑management systems such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Experience with distributed databases (Elasticsearch, Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in Kubernetes administration and containerised workloads.
• Experience with IaC tools (FluxCD, ArgoCD) and monitoring systems (Zabbix, VictoriaMetrics, Loki, Grafana).
