Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote)

About the role

FP Markets Group, a multi‑regulated broker, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its IT department on a fully remote basis. You will help design, automate and optimise the company’s cloud infrastructure while collaborating with development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of infrastructure services.
• Design, provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Automate network and server configuration with Ansible.
• Optimise cloud resources, implement cost‑effective solutions and monitor system performance.
• Implement security best practices, compliance automation and troubleshoot issues.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services.
• Solid experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Strong networking fundamentals including L2/L3 concepts, VLANs, switching and routing.
• Experience with overlay network technologies, software‑defined networking and network automation.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash.
