Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the bank’s strategic and financial planning, develop business plans, budgets and forecasts, and provide analytical insights to improve performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the bank’s strategy development process through comprehensive internal and external analyses and preparation of analytical materials.
• Participate in the development, consolidation and regular review of the bank’s business plan and annual budget, assisting business units with their plans.
• Prepare and regularly update quarterly forecasts for the bank’s business plan and budgets.
• Develop financial models for initiatives, products, services and business units to evaluate feasibility and impact.
• Monitor and analyze the bank’s financial and operational performance, identify variances and prepare management commentary.
• Prepare regular management reports on budget performance, financial results and key business indicators for senior management.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, management or finance.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in finance, banking or a related area.
• Strong financial and business analysis capabilities, with ability to identify key performance drivers and draw well‑supported conclusions.
• High level of responsibility, accuracy, attention to detail and a results‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, Power Pivot and Power BI.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases and large datasets.
• Knowledge of R or Python for analytical tasks.
• Familiarity with the AS‑Bank system.
