Senior Java Engineer – Order Management Systems

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to lead the design and implementation of Order Management System (OMS) capabilities. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Armenia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement OMS and order lifecycle management features.
• Integrate REST/API‑based solutions with eCommerce, marketplace, warehouse, ERP and other systems.
• Build order fulfillment, inventory, returns and refund processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and production issues.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong Java development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with REST APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Background with order management, commerce or other complex transactional systems.
