About the role
A leading global financial services organization is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its international legal function. The role goes beyond traditional advisory work, requiring close collaboration with senior business stakeholders to deliver commercially focused legal solutions in a fast‑paced, global environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on commercial, corporate and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and vendor agreements.
- Support legal aspects of payments, fundraising initiatives and corporate governance.
- Partner with internal teams to identify, assess and manage legal risk.
- Deliver commercially minded legal solutions that align with business objectives.
Required profile
- 8–10 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
- Qualified lawyer with a recognised law degree.
- Experience in financial services, FinTech, brokerage or trading environments.
- Strong background in commercial contracts, corporate and regulatory law.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
