Senior .NET/C# Software Engineer

About the role

SoftConstruct is seeking a Senior .NET/C# Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services and applications. You will work closely with product owners, QA engineers, DevOps, and fellow developers to deliver scalable, reliable solutions for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and the .NET 6/7 framework.
• Lead architectural decisions, ensure code quality, and enforce secure coding standards.
• Implement RESTful APIs, micro‑services, and message‑broker integrations (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive continuous improvement of the SDLC.
• Optimize database interactions (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and tune performance for high‑load scenarios.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues with a focus on long‑term maintainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET technologies.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
• Proven ability to work effectively in Agile teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
