Senior UX Designer – Legal & Financial Platform

About the role

Aderant is seeking a Senior UX Designer to shape intelligent user experiences and information architecture for Stridyn, its legal and financial platform, across desktop and mobile. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to turn problems into validated prototypes within fast‑paced sprints.

Key responsibilities

• Work within a cross‑functional pod (designer, PM, engineers) to deliver validated prototypes in 1–2 week sprints.
• Partner with the PM during research and discovery to scope problems and begin early conceptual design.
• Conduct upstream thinking: problem framing, flow logic, edge‑case mapping, and produce clear strategic summaries.
• Design for all states, including empty, loading, error, partial data, and edge cases.
• Iterate through validation, stress‑testing flows, incorporating client feedback, and preparing assets for engineering.
• Deliver Claude Design prototypes as primary hand‑off artifacts with supporting documentation and rationale.
• Build using components and tokens from the design system and contribute to extending the system.

Required profile

• Senior‑level UX designer with experience designing for both desktop and mobile applications.
• Strong eye for design combined with technical fluency to quickly prototype and iterate.
• Data‑driven decision‑making using user research and product analytics.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and communicate design rationale clearly.
• Comfort with rapid‑iteration, AI‑augmented design processes, and focusing on impact over output.
