Team Lead – Loss Prevention

About the role

The Team Lead – Loss Prevention is responsible for safeguarding the property’s assets, keys, and equipment while ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff. This role combines key‑control auditing, security patrols, incident response, and support for emergency situations in a busy hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct key‑control audits, monitor electronic key boxes, and issue/receive master keys, radios, and beepers.
• Patrol all areas of the property, assist guests with room access, and respond to accidents or emergencies.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, report incidents, and complete detailed security reports.
• Provide first aid/CPR, coordinate with EMS, and assist during emergency evacuations.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and handle vehicle accident or theft scenes.
• Maintain confidentiality of all reports, ensure proper documentation, and support training of team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
• Ability to follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect proprietary information.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb unassisted and 75 lb with assistance, and navigate varied terrain.

Required skills

• CCTV monitoring and alarm system operation.
• Electronic key‑box and master‑key management.
• First aid and CPR certification.
