Lead DevOps Engineer (Azure)

About the role

EPAM Armenia is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable Azure infrastructure for AI/ML workloads. You will work remotely from anywhere in Armenia, collaborating with development, QA, and R&D teams to deliver high‑quality, rapid‑delivery solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure environments optimized for AI/ML workloads.
• Deploy and maintain Azure AI services such as OpenAI, AI Search, AI Foundry, and APIM.
• Automate application deployment and scaling using Kubernetes.
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines for rapid prototyping and production releases.
• Implement security, compliance, and cost‑management best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve cloud operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience building secure, well‑architected Azure cloud environments.
• Hands‑on experience with modern Azure AI tooling (OpenAI, AI Search, AI Foundry, APIM).
• Strong background in container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Seq and Azure Monitor.
